By car

Lyme Regis is around 3 & 1/2 hours from London via the A303. From Exeter it's a straightforward 45 minute drive along the A35. From Bristol allow around 1 hr 45 mins via the A303Car: Lyme Regis is around 3 & 1/2 hours from London via the A303

By Train

The nearest station is Axminster, with direct services from London Waterloo (approx. 2 hrs 20 mins). A taxi from Axminster to Port House takes around 15 minutes. Local taxis are readily available at the station.

By Bus

Regular local buses connect Lyme Regis with Axminster, Bridport, Seaton and Exeter. First Bus also operates services connecting Lyme Regis with Exeter and Bridport. Journey times vary, check Traveline South West for current timetables

One covered private parking space is included. If you’re travelling with a second car, Holmbush Car Park is typically the most convenient nearby option, around a 10-minute walk away. Parking can be limited during peak summer periods.
Local taxi companies regularly operate between Axminster station and Lyme Regis. During busy summer periods, advance booking is recommended. We’re happy to share up-to-date local recommendations before your stay.
Check-in is from 4pm, with check-out by 10am. If you’d like to request an earlier arrival or later departure, please contact us before your stay and we’ll do our best to accommodate where possible.
